Nancy O'Dell started her career in the broadcast industry as reporter for WPDE-TV, Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Then she became an anchor in the morning and a reporter at WCBD TV. The articles written by O'Dell in Charleston, about how the Charleston police acted in DUI cases with care, caused an investigation by State Law Enforcement Division. The investigation resulted a stricter directive for state authorities. In the year 2000, Associated Press awarded Ms. O'Dell her Best Report of the year Award for every aspect of South Carolina media. Following her stint at Charleston, O'Dell worked as anchor for NBC's Miami Station WTVJ-TV and as an investigative journalist. Then she was hired by Access Hollywood to work as an anchor on weekends and weekdays. As well as her work as a lead anchor on Access Hollywood Ms. O'Dell is also an anchor for NBC News' Today and also for Dateline NBC. She's reported on the Oscars The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards and co-hosted various pre-show arrivals shows for The Emmys And The Golden Globes. In addition, she hosted Miss USA's pageant, as well as the Miss Universe Pageant.
